SubstraTulum

Team

A four-person team

SubstraTulum combines material and computational design, software systems, and research direction. Physical testing and characterization protocols are developed in academic collaboration with the FabLab at Universidad Anáhuac México (Mexico City) — a joint research relationship, not a sponsorship.

Javier M. Gaxiola / JAMAGAX

Co-Founder · Material & Computational Design

M. Arq. Javier M. Gaxiola (JAMAGAX) leads SubstraTulum’s design direction: material research, computational design, and the P(M) ⇄ M(P) principle that governs how the lab converts material behavior into geometry, and fabricated pattern into new material evidence.

Kevin Sitzes

Co-Founder · Agentic AI & Software Systems

Kevin Sitzes leads SubstraTulum’s software systems and agentic-AI automation, including this web platform. Computation expands the lab’s design and research field, but it does not replace human judgment, material experience, or physical validation.
